- Fee Offset
- The awardee’s requirement to pay program tuition costs for the duration of the award has been reduced by the fee offset offered by the GUIPRS.
- Overseas Student Health Cover
- The candidate and any dependents (if any) are covered for up to 42 months by the standard Overseas Student Health Cover policy, which is included in the award.

Application Requirements:
- The applicant must be starting or enrolled in an HDR program at Griffith University (for which GUIPRS support is available).
- They cannot be domestic students, which are defined as students who are Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, holders of an Australian Permanent Humanitarian visa, or citizens of New Zealand.

- A six-month extension may be granted to doctoral candidates in certain situations.

Procedure to Apply for Griffith University International Postgraduate Research Scholarship 2024:
- The procedure for submitting an online application for a research program leading to a higher degree, which includes a scholarship application part, must be followed by new applicants.
- Candidates for existing research projects or those with offers that have not yet been accepted must use a different application process to apply for scholarships.
- Only two applications may be submitted in five years to be taken into account for the ranking and selection of scholarships.
